1 Corinthians 12:27

27 Now ye are the body of Christ,
and members in particular.
That's what apostleship is.
The 12 apostles didn't primp.
They served JESUS.
We believers don't primp either.
We are not obsessed with self.
We are focused on Scripture.
Our face is JESUS.
Our doctrine is JESUS.
Our life is JESUS.
Our work is JESUS.
It's all JESUS.
The LORD did say:
Luke 10:3-4

3 Go your ways:
behold,
I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Carry neither purse,
nor scrip,
nor shoes:
and salute no man by the way.
John the Baptist, cousin to JESUS, declared:
John 3:30

30 He must increase,
but I must decrease.
Further, the LORD Himself came down from heaven.
As the most unassuming person on earth.
Isaiah 53:1-2
King James Version
53 Who hath believed our report?
and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant,
and as a root out of a dry ground:
he hath no form nor comeliness;
and when we shall see him,
there is no beauty that we should desire him.
JESUS did not even have a place to rest.
He was always on the move, ministering to people.
Luke 9:57-58

57 And it came to pass, that,
as they went in the way,
a certain man said unto him,
Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
58 And Jesus said unto him,
Foxes have holes,
and birds of the air have nests;
but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
That was tantamount to JESUS asking this man:
"Are you sure you want to become a disciple?"
Why, then, should disciples and apostles, be any different?
We go, where JESUS wants us to go.
We teach, what JESUS wants us to teach.
We believe, what JESUS taught us.
We live, as JESUS showed Himself.
JESUS is our pattern for all that is CHRIST.
For all that is of GOD.
For all that is obedient.
For all that is holy.
JESUS is our face.
He is our heart.
He is our life.
He is our work.
He is our truth.
He is our doctrine.
